Logline:  A Chinese drug lord’s daughter must make a fatal decision between familial loyalty and romantic love. 
 
 
 

Mei, the daughter of a Shanghai drug lord, comes to Los Angeles to learn about American culture and establish a West Coast operation for her father’s trafficking network.  While in the Los Angeles, Mei meets Kyle, a young and naïve American man.  Mei’s longing for intimacy leads to an affair with Kyle, taking her far outside her father’s wishes.  She soon realizes that echoes from the past are not easily escaped, when a curse placed upon her by an enemy of her father begins to influence her future.  Learning of his daughter’s indiscretions, Mei’s father hands down an absolute ultimatum that will inevitably seal Kyle’s fate.  Now Mei must decide her own.
